Photos of earth's beautiful landscape formations from mountains, deserts and seas
My friend and fellow photographer Ty Cook drove up to Arizona’s Mogollon Rim with hopes of catching some fall color. We didn’t see much along the Rim Road however this small ravine contained many black oak trees with their leaves blanketing the ground.
While shooting here, a male elk made some rustling noise above me. I was startled a bit but enjoyed seeing him wandering around. Unfortunately he quickly took off when he saw me.
To me, the Mogollon Rim is one of Arizona’s wonders full of forest, lakes and an incredible view south perfect for sunrise and sunset.
